Garver Arts Incubator with Common Wealth Development

little boy paintingImagine…a beautifully restored historic building filled with creative activities. Artists are at work in their studios creating paintings, sculptures, glass and prints. A group of school children watch intently as a potter demonstrates wheel throwing in the workshop room. Young artists gather in the conference room to learn from an established artist what it takes to build an art career. An opening night crowd fills the gallery to view a new show and meet the artist. The entire building is alive on Open Studio Night as artists welcome the public into their studios. This is Common Wealth Development’s Garver Arts Incubator Project.
