Earn$ave with Common Wealth Development

Navigating financial websites at Summit Credit UnionSaving money is hard work… especially for teens.  Earn$ave makes it easier. Earn$ave, Wisconsin’s first Youth Individual Account Program, offers teens the incentive and support to save successfully while improving their financial skills and habits.  Participants identify a savings goal such as college, a computer, drivers education classes, or even sports camps or art supplies.  Then they make monthly deposits toward their goals in custodial savings accounts at Summit Credit Union.  Teens in Earn$ave can save up to $500 in their accounts that will be matched 1:1 by Common Wealth Development! While the teens save, we teach them about a range of financial topics from saving and investing to consumer awareness and financing higher education.  In addition, together with Financial Service Specialists from Summit Credit Union, we mentor and encourage them while they save.   Teens who have successfully completed our Youth-Business Mentoring Program are eligible to apply.
