14 year olds have reached the milestone where they can get their first “real” job. But where to start?
Common Wealth’s pre-employment workshops take the mystery out of job search strategies and explain the secrets of effective job applications. In addition, mock interviews help students learn what it will be like having to answer some typical interview questions.
Common Wealth Development’s staff has been invited to work in schools and community centers to help over 2,300 students in Madison and Dane County for the past 6 years. Strengthening their skills and giving them the confidence to fill out that first successful job application is our focus.
