“The Hundred-Pound Dress”
Do your clothes have a spiritual life? Put another way, how does spirit, or life, reside within clothing in absence of the physical body?
Emily Popp’s exhibition,The One Hundred Pound Dress, uses fashion, photography, audio, and material analysis to examines these questions. This work shares the artists relationship to clothing, and invites others to consider their own.
